Communication Guidelines

Autzen Foundation has one sole staff member dedicated to managing our operations and efficiently supporting our mission. Your role in adhering to these communication guidelines is crucial to our collective success.

Office Hours: Our Foundation Manager works part-time and may not always be available immediately. Office hours are Monday through Wednesday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Email Communications: Email is the best way to reach our office for anything that requires direct attention. We also appreciate your patience if our responses are delayed.

Before sending an email, we encourage you to:

  • Check our website for the information you might be seeking.

  • Review our latest Form 990 on ProPublica for questions about who we fund. (The list of grants begins on page 11.)

  • Please refrain from sending speculative emails that request staff to predict or assume what the board might fund. Submitting a formal application is the best way to determine if your initiative aligns with our grantmaking goals.

 

Newsletter Subscriptions: While we value staying informed about the work of our partners and the broader community, please do not subscribe us to newsletters or mailing lists.

Physical Mailings: Please refrain from sending newsletters or promotional materials via postal mail.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these guidelines. Thank you for your consideration and for the impactful work you do.
