Communication Guidelines
Autzen Foundation has one sole staff member dedicated to managing our operations and efficiently supporting our mission. Your role in adhering to these communication guidelines is crucial to our collective success.
Office Hours: Our Foundation Manager works part-time and may not always be available immediately.
Email Communications: Email is the best way to reach our office for anything that requires direct attention. We also appreciate your patience if our responses are delayed.
Due to our small staff and high application volume, we cannot offer pre-application conversations, project vetting, or exploratory meetings.
Funding decisions are made at the board level and are based solely on the materials submitted through our grant portal.
The most accurate way to determine whether your project aligns with our mission is to submit an LOI during an open cycle.

Newsletter Subscriptions: While we value staying informed about the work of our partners and the broader community, please do not subscribe us to newsletters or mailing lists.
Physical Mailings: Please refrain from sending newsletters or promotional materials via postal mail.

Foundation Staff:
Our office is NOT open to the public, and we kindly ask that you do not visit us in person. All inquiries and services are handled online or by appointment only. Thank you for your understanding.
